Gente! South Africa is led by Geruza Patricia Bumba.

Born in Luanda, Angola, Geruza trained as a commercial litigation lawyer in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Her love for authentic connections led her to build a career in global marketing and public relations.

Geruza has provided Portuguese translation and proofreading services for multinational brands and organisations, including Control Risks’ global RiskMap campaign and for material used in regional community outreaches by Lawyers for Human Rights.

She previously also worked as a journalist for some of South Africa’s most respected media houses.

Through Gente!, she collaborates with brands looking to make their mark in Portuguese-speaking markets.
